GarrettLoader Version 1.41 is currently going through early beta testing.
- FIXED: Recently used FM bug that caused the selected FM not to be selected on some PC's
- FIXED: Several install bugs. These are ones where some of the required dll's needed to run GarrettLoader have not been registered correctly.
- UPDATED: Adjusted the Recently used FM's, this now records ALL FMs, not just ones that have predefined image files. Also this now works for custom games as well.
- UPDATED: Major change to the GL interface, the FM Details section is now tab based to make it simpler to use.
- UPDATED: Default program menu items added making it simpler to use.
- ADDED: A competition feature. This allows competition organisers to add a reference file into entry FM zip files, GL will then use them to generate competition submission forms pre-filling alot of info for them (making it much simpler to vote for your favorite entries).
- ADDED: Shadowspawns T3 IBT file decompressor DLL, this means that those 50mb T3 FM zips can now be compressed down to about a tenth the size.
Version 1.41 is expected to be release mid June

GarrettLoader Version 1.32 has been released, this is a slight bug fix version of GL 1.32 and was mainly released for the inclusion on a German games magazine.
- FIXED: A couple of bugs in the Custom Game Wizard that stopped downloading of custom game reference files and certain combinations of Registry checks failing
- FIXED: At least partly...GL has a small bug fix routine that it runs upon startup, this currently resolves a runtime error 429 on startup at the moment but will be expanded later on.
- UPDATED: Adjusted a slight error in the scores download which caused Loot List links to be added to the Info Links of readme's. Also updated the single score download to update links as well as the bulk score download.
- ADDED: Lots more error checking in general and diagnostic information for when the Debug Console is used.

GarrettLoader Version 1.31 has been released, it has masses of changes, masses of improvements, and lots of bug fixes. Here is a list of what has been updated or added:
- ADDED: Custom Game Wizard - Fan Missions and Maps for other games using reference files is now possible through GarrettLoader. It should be possible to support pretty much any game using this method...and you can create the reference files yourself!!!. And whats more, not only can you score, review and categorise them, you can also install and play them as well (in most cases).
- ADDED: FM Readme Toolbar - This is shown when viewing a readme file in GL and gives you a customisable toolbar to enhance the FMs readme. This includes adding links for Walkthroughs,Loot Lists, Forumn Threads, etc.
- ADDED: Game Diagnostic Tool - Use this to diagnose your game install (works on any game) by creating a reference file of your game before installing FMs and then should anything go wrong, you can run teh diagnostic again against your original reference file.
- ADDED: Debug Console - enables basic tracking of what GL does while its running.
- UPDATED: Scores system - This has had a few improvements so that scores can now be seen in the FMs readme files, including the number of people that have scored it. Its also now possible to download scores on demand with a right click of the download scores button. Also links can also be downloaded to be added into readmes (see above), giving you quick access to known forum links, and cheats for the FMs. Also there is now a guide to how to score FMs, including an automated scorer to help you give the fairest score for an FM.
- UPDATED: Main Game Toolbar - Right clicking buttons on this now provides more options, such as quickly accessing settings, or filtering your FMs by your score (or community score) for smaller, more focused lists to work with.
- FIXED: Bug causing some Doom 3/The Dark Mod FMs not to load up directly.

The bug fix version (1.02) of GarrettLoader is nearly ready. This fixes:
- Missing FMs - most FMs that did not appear in the Main FM List now do, however there may be one or two that do not.
- DromEd startup - This now only starts DromEd with no extras (these will be configurable via the Tweaks Tool in version 1.51).
- FM Packager Tool - Thief 3 start location is now corrected to the root of Thief 3's install folder rather than the system folder.
- Fixed File Security - improved the restrictions put on which files to extract from FM zip files
- File Number Restrictions - GL was limited to only 1023 files per zip file. This is now 1500 EXTRACTABLE files per zip (not all files are extracted). This will be improved in the next release of GL.
- Fixed Readme Maker - txt files now save correctly, all fields are enabled so that you can't lock the readme.
- Scores system has had a slight bug fix both in program and on the web server, this should improve the accuracy when uploading scores.
- Slight improvement to stability.
- General minor bug fixes that you will most likely not notice.
NOTE: no new enhancements have been added in this version, however there are plenty in development and will be released in version 1.51.

- Save Game Management - This allows you to manage the save games that GarettLoader produces
- Enhanced Tool Management - This allows you to kick off tools when starting up an FM. These include things like starting FRAPS or automatically re-registering video codecs, etc.
